Dr. Brian and Nadine McKenzie are both the founders and creative force behind Hope & Strength Media. Both have decades of years in their respective fields of study and professionalism in the fields of education, theology, counseling, mentoring, consultancy, ministry, service, parenting and academia. Dr. Brian holds degrees in Theology, education, art and ministry. Lady Nadine McKenzie holds degrees in the social sciences, Biblical studies and therapy. Both have a love for God, His people and His kingdom, and wish to serve both Him and them in the way they've been purposed.
Hope and Strength Media is a media company that communicates the glory of God through Fine art, encouraging videos and vignettes, promotional messages, education, apologetic and informational content. Eric Lidell (the famed athlete and missionary to China) once noted, "I believe that God made me for a purpose. But He also made me fast, and when I run, I feel His pleasure." To echo our dear brother, let it be noted that God made us as well for His ends and His purposes and when we preach, teach, mentor, counsel, care for people and defend the faith, we too feel His pleasure.
Hope & Strength Media is a multi-faceted media company. There are 5 facets to H&SM and they are: Puffin Crew Children's Books and Curriculum, Wisdom Coaching for Life (Biblical counseling, mentoring, life coaching and consultancy), Seer Prophetic Paintings and Fine Arts, Liber Theologicus (our academic, fiction and non-fiction publications and resources), and finally The Apologia Sacra (apologetic resources and consultancy).

One of the reasons we do what we do is for the sake of legacy (metaphorically pictured in the little toddler above). We believe that living a life that is pleasing to God and one another, begins with the fear of the Lord. "The fear of the Lord is the 'beginning of wisdom' ". When one reveres God, he/she situates the whole of life around that resolve and it is from that point that prosperity becomes possible for one's generation and future generations to come. Little children like her are a heritage and gift from God to His people. A fitting thank you is to bring that child up knowing her or his Creator.
The second reason that punctuates our existence is a love of what is good as God defines goodness. When the Bible said, "And God saw that it was good...", it wasn't speaking entirely of something that is sensually pleasing (sight, sound, touch...), the reference pointed to the 'purpose' of the thing created. Whatever God called good, He meant that, that thing created was operating according to it's purpose. In other words, it was doing what it was designed to do. When we create, Biblically counsel, educate, consult, we feel God's pleasure and are performing what we were designed and purposed to do in the earth.
The last reason we are doing what we do is to confront the darkness and confusion seen in the world of media with material that brings light and glory to God. We are not better, but stand in partnership with other media institutions in offering material and content that builds, restores, and encourages. We also seek to bring about change through material that will provoke people to see truth perhaps in a way they never have before. With that said, it is fitting to note that Jesus is the foundation upon which we have created this media company and by His grace we will continue to build it.
